At Dungarvan CBS, the safety, wellbeing and protection of every student is central to our school community. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and respectful environment where all students feel valued, listened to and supported.

Our Child Safeguarding procedures are guided by national requirements and school policies, with all staff sharing responsibility for creating a safe environment for students. We have clear procedures in place for responding to and reporting concerns about student welfare and protection.

Our Designated Liaison Person (DLP), Ms. Guerin, Principal, and Deputy Designated Liaison Person (DDLP), Ms. Kirwan, Deputy Principal, oversee child safeguarding matters within the school.
